Marinship was contracted to pour over 85,000 SF of concrete rat slabs under buildings 600, 610 615 and 661.  Work included all forming, placing and finishing of the five (5) inch rat slabs with 3500 psi concrete mix design with five (5) pounds of macro fibers per yard.

The work included forming and striping depressed sumps, pouring around dewatering wells and 525 – 12” diameter micro piles at Building 610 and 209 – 48” diameter piles at Building 600,  We also were responsible for the installation of EPS 15-6” wide expansion foam at expansion joints, purchase and install Hydroduct 220 drain material at the bottom of all excavations around the perimeter of the four (4) buildings using powder activated fasteners.

This project is literally the base for the entire Biosolids Facility taking place at over 40 feet below grade in our deepest elevation.
